TraxSystem software and on-site devices
We build one piece of software, TraxSystem, and we have been building it for a long time. It handles the movement of vehicles and people on an industrial site: vehicle entries, delivery bookings, access control, weighing, security work, health and safety inductions and rail traffic on the siding.
Alongside the server, we make the devices installed at the site: the driver kiosk, the induction terminal, the mobile security terminal, the edge device that reads number plates at the gate and the electronics in the installation (barrier and passage controllers, the relay module and the SMS gateway). That way the question “who is going to connect the kiosk, the scanner and the camera?” has one answer and one phone number.
How we work with customers
Implementation starts with a demo, before any contract. We walk through the whole process on your configuration before you buy anything and before anyone drills anything into a post. We believe that a decision about a system for a site should be something you can check, not just discuss.
Prices are on the website. The pricing configurator works out a specific configuration, broken down into the base, the modules and implementation, and shows hardware as a separate item, priced outside the licence. For a site with up to five gates you can see the software price straight away, without talking to us; above five gates the quote is individual.
We state the limits of the scope as clearly as the features: every page of this website has a section on what the system does not do.

What you can check before signing a contract
Before you decide, you can check:
- the whole process on your configuration and according to your rules: booking, driver check-in, induction, entry, weighing, exit and report (demo),
- the price, because the pricing configurator works out a specific configuration, including what falls outside the licence,
- the scope of support and what happens when payments end (licence and support),
- answers for the IT department and the data protection officer, without being sent off to a meeting: architecture and personal data,
- the built-in manual, which covers every screen and every window of the application, with screenshots, and is updated together with the product.
We open the manual during the demo, because it says more about how the product is looked after than any statement could.
